Hotkey Sound Recorder is a sound recording program with a hotkey feature. The Hotkey feature of this software enables you to record any sound by pressing a button of your keyboard. While minimized, its icon is visible on your system tray and you can start recording by clicking on system tray icon which saves lots of time for you. Recorded sound can be saved as MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV or VOX file. Hotkey Sound Recorder can also be used as a converter, which converts sound files between MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV and VOX formats.
Hotkey Sound Recorder supports MP3 ID3-tag where you can manually enter sound file information like title, artist, album, genre, year, track and comment. It also supports VBR for better quality of sound. Bit-rate, frequency and encoder quality can also be set manually by the user. This software allows you to record sound from any windows application including games and media players. You can record sounds from microphones and save it in the desired formats with detailed information. This software supports flexibility to change and disable the hotkey for better command over recording. With this feature user can set a key by pressing which recording will start and stop.
